At the heart of our coaching framework is the Myrrh Notes prayer journal, Healing. Myrrh Notes blends journal therapy, prayer, and meditation on Scripture to help you harness God’s power on your journey toward strength and transformation.

So, what is myrrh? Myrrh is derived from the sap of the Commiphora myrrha tree, which grows in regions like Northeast Africa, particularly Somalia, and the Arabian Peninsula. Known for its medicinal properties, myrrh is prized for its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial benefits—making it a powerful tool for healing.

Okay, now, what is Myrrh Notes?

Symbolizing renewal, Myrrh Notes is a journal where you can express your reflections, fears, pain, prayers, and declarations of faith. Here are some biblical uses of myrrh:

Anointing Oil: In the Old Testament, myrrh was a key ingredient in holy anointing oil, symbolizing holiness (Exodus 30:23-25).
Gift to Jesus: The Magi offered myrrh to Jesus at His birth, symbolizing His future suffering (Matthew 2:11).
Crucifixion and Burial: Wine mixed with myrrh was offered to Jesus at His crucifixion to dull His pain, and myrrh was used in preparing His body for burial (Mark 15:23, John 19:39-40).
Purification: Myrrh played a significant role in Esther’s twelve months of beauty treatments before becoming queen, symbolizing her purification (Esther 2:12).

Meet your coach.

My healing journey began 16 years ago when I started college. While I focused on studying social work, I ended up working in scientific publishing. For the past 8 years, I’ve been on a path of professional healing, seeking support from coaches and therapists to address childhood traumas. This process has been rewarding but also challenging, often feeling long and lonely. Confronting trauma can make us want to give up or feel stuck, overwhelmed by intense emotions and struggling to move past our post-trauma symptoms.

To my fellow childhood trauma survivors, I want you to know that healing those fragmented parts of ourselves is possible. We can learn to navigate the burdens of our jobs, relationships, and daily lives.

I have been fortunate to work through my own experiences of childhood emotional abuse, domestic violence, and rejection. I've tackled self-destructive behaviors, loss of identity, depression, shame, and self-hatred. I believe that God wants me to help others unpack their trauma so they can:
